Warehouse Operative

Are you looking to start a career in logistics? Are you ready for your next challenge? If so, we are looking for a full-time Warehouse Picker to join us at our reverse operation for our client in Leyland, PR7 7NA.

Your working hours as the Warehouse Picker will be:

• You will be working from 13:00 until 21:00, 5 days out of 7 on a 9 week rolling rota which does include working some full weekends
• WEEK 1 MANDATORY 5 DAY TRAINING 13:00 until 21:00

Your pay rate as a Warehouse Picker:

• Basic rate: £11.60 p/h
• 25% increase for any hours worked after 18:00

The duties of the Warehouse Picker will involve but not be limited to:

• Working in a chilled Warehouse using handheld scanners and headsets to pick the required products
• Voice order picking of chilled items such as dairy and fresh produce items ready to be dispatched to stores
• Working to and meeting daily targets
• General housekeeping duties, ensuring products are in the correct place
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous however full training is provided
• Must be comfortable working in a chill environment of +2 Celsia
