Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their best in education? We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic school in Salford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to make a difference in the classroom and provide vital support to both students and teachers.

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide additional support to students, including small group work and one-to-one assistance where required. Your role as a Teaching Assistant will involve fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, helping students to engage with their studies, and supporting the school's ethos and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the teacher in preparing classroom activities and resources.
• Assisting students with academic, social, and emotional development.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with varying needs.
• Promoting a positive learning environment and encouraging good behaviour.
• Collaborating with staff to ensure all students are included and making progress.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or with children/young people, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
