We are now looking for a Transport Administrator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week (7am - 2:30pm) during term time plus two weeks during the school holidays.

The Role
As a Transport Administrator, you will co-ordinate our school minibus service.
Ensuring all vehicles, routes and bookings are efficiently managed and comply with transport legislation, you will oversee the scheduling and logistics of school bus routes, extra-curricular trips and ad hoc transport needs.
You will also liaise with the Compliance Manager to oversee vehicle safety checks, maintenance, and servicing, alongside managing lease contracts, insurance and breakdown cover.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of school minibus drivers
- Arrange driver updates and training courses to maintain compliance.
- Manage the cleanliness and functionality of vehicles
- Assess new routes for safety and efficiency
- Oversee the transport store
About You
To be considered as a Transport Administrator, you will need:
- Management or supervisory experience
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Good customer service skills
- Good IT skills
- A full, valid driving licence
