Electrical Shift Engineer

Great opportunity for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a market leading building service provider in Canary Wharf, working on a flagship site! You will be joining a highly reputable company, who are known for progressing their engineers internally and who offer brilliant career experience.

For the role of Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for the PPM and reactive maintenance for mechanical and electrical systems on site, ensure all logbooks and site documents are updated regularly, escort sub contractors, report into your site manager and ensure the client is satisfied with all maintenance duties on site. This is a static role following a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, days and nights.

To be successful for this role, you must be fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), a great understanding of commercial mechanical and electrical equipment, at least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance and a client facing attitude.

Electrical Shift Engineer Duties:

• PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
• Electrical Fault-Finding
• Single & Three Phase Power
• Emergency Lighting
• Fire Alarms
• BMS Operation
• AHUs
• FCUs
• Generators
• VAV/VRFs
• Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
• Cooling Towers
• Pumps & Motors
• Site Folders, E-logbooks, Managing Contractors, Audits, Quotations

Electrical Shift Engineer Requirements:

• Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
• Great understanding of commercial mechanical and electrical equipment
• 3 years experience in commercial maintenance
• Can commute easily to Canary Wharf
• Experience in a banking or critical environment - Desirable, not essential
• Experience working as a 'Electrical Shift Engineer' would be ideal

Salary and Package:

• £50,000 per annum
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, day and night shifts
