Design Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist manufacturing engineering company who are recruiting a Design Engineer.

Salary - up to £40k

Working hours: 8.00am to 12.00pm and 12.30pm to 16.25pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 11.30am and 11.50am to 14.00pm on Friday.

Duties of the Design Engineer will include 

• Ensure that the manufacturing drawings implement only the changes specified in the design instructions
• Support the Mechanical Design and Engineering Manager in investigating errors to identify and eradicate the root cause
• The design and development of engineered products
• Produce detailed drawings and 3D CAD models
• Completing bills of material

We are keen to speak with Design Engineer will need:

• Apprentice trained in Design engineering or similar
• Experience of mechanical design
• Excellent communication skills
• 3D CAD, Solidworks, Inventor or Solid Edge experience

This role would suit someone with a willingness and flexibility to travel within the UK and abroad.
