Test Lead

We have an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning organisation as a Test Lead.

The ideal Test Lead will have experience within the financial sector. Experience having worked with Payment Transactions, Direct Debits and Standing Orders is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse requirements and designs to ensure testability and coverage.
• Develop and execute comprehensive Test Plans, Scenarios, and Schedules.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders on test criteria and scenarios.
• Support UAT execution and integration testing phases.
• Provide expertise in testing financial systems, including direct debits, payment transactions, and standing orders.
• Monitor and report on test progress and quality metrics.
• Actively participate in project planning, stand-up calls, and review sessions.
• Drive adoption of continuous testing and DevOps practices.

Must Have:

• Proven leadership experience in QA or Test Management roles.
• Strong understanding of large IT project delivery and integration testing.
• Expertise in testing financial workflows such as direct debits, standing orders, and payment transactions.
• Proficiency in JIRA, XRAY, or similar test management tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps tools.
• Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills in high-pressure environments.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage virtual teams across time zones.
• The candidate must be based in the UK within a commutable distance of North London.
• Our client would consider a candidate with a background as a Test Lead or Test Manager.
