Job Vacancy: Maintenance Operative

Job Type: Temporary to permanent
Location: Leigh-on-Sea
Hourly Rate: £11.44
Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly of aircraft wheel and brake parts according to maintenance manuals.
• Read and understand work instructions, maintenance manuals, operating procedures, and customer specifications.
• Clean aircraft wheels and brakes using specialized cleaning machines.
• Operate media blasters for effective paint removal.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
• Adapt to various shifts in response to customer needs.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous engineering, automotive, mechanical or maintenance experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Maths and English is required.
• Applicants must be fit and healthy, as the job is physically demanding.
• No prior aviation experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
