1st Line Support Engineer

We’re searching for a dedicated 1st Line Support Engineer to join the IT team in Stonehouse!

This engineering consultancy aims to deliver secure and quality solutions to support their clients in various highly regulated sectors including defence, aerospace, rail, and energy.

You will be responsible for 1st line support providing people with guidance on any IT issues.

About the Role:
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues (desktop support, network connectivity, printers, and Microsoft Office Suite)
• Provide user guidance and training on software/hardware
• Manage and resolve user requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Assist with system administration tasks and maintain company IT systems

About You:
• Experience with SharePoint and Exchange
• Proven background in 1st/2nd line support roles
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Active Directory, VPNs, and remote access technologies (desirable)

• Role: 1st Line Support Engineer
• Salary: £24,000–£27,000 Per Year
• Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire
• Primarily On-Site With Occasional Remote Working
• Eligibility: British Citizens Only Due to Security Clearance Requirements
