This role sits within our Public Sector FM business division that provides Cleaning, Catering, Hard Services, Pest Control, Carbon & Energy, and Security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Education & Healthcare market.



About The Role:
Shift Pattern: 14:00pm to 19:00pm

Responsible for the operations of the Cleaning Team, delivering excellent customer service by ensuring all requests from users within the Haberdasher sites are executed in a timely, accurate and professional manner all within the agreed service level requirements. Being data driven to better identify operational failures. Using data to ensure a higher quality of service. To support the Contract Domestic Manager to develop and evolve policies, systems, and protocols to maximise the utilisation of the physical resources across the sites.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role

  • Provide leadership, direction, and delegation to staff. Promote and share best practice.
  • Ensure flexible, suitable, and safe manning levels are maintained across all shifts to ensure service meets its contractual requirement.
  • Develop good working practices and relationships to support staff. To include engagement, motivation, discipline, safety, and general welfare of the staff under their supervision.
  • Provide initial line of escalation for customers and staff for all services related queries.
  • Collate and coordinate the information required for the Contract Domestic Manager, ensure the information is provided in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Time and Attendance system, rosta and shift management; actioning all system arbitration.
  • Effectively supervise, train, motivate, discipline and ensure the safety and general welfare of staff in accordance with OCS policies, procedures and training plan.

Professional Qualifications required for the job-(particularly for compliance purposes or technical requirements of the role)

  • Managerial experience in a team of 20 people or over
  • Good PC skills with full Microsoft office knowledge
  • Experience working across multiple sites (Desirable)
  • Proven experience of improving team performance
  • Cleaning experience within an educational setting (Desirable)
