About the Role:

As a Business Tax Manager, you'll:

Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, including standalone companies and international groups, handling their corporation tax compliance.

Provide tax advisory services, including:

• Structuring for companies, LLPs, etc.
• Restructuring and exit planning
• Research & development tax relief
• Group tax planning and international tax matters
• Venture capital tax reliefs
• Share schemes, valuations, and due diligence reports

Drive client opportunities by identifying tax-efficient solutions and working with partners to implement them.

Lead, manage, and develop junior staff through training, appraisals, and mentoring.

Support business development, including proposals for new clients, networking events, and marketing activities to grow our reach and influence.

• Manage portfolios, identify opportunities, and navigate potential pitfalls with ease.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience managing a client portfolio, including group structures.
• CTA/ACA qualification preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of tax software (Alpha Tax knowledge a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
