Assistant Management Accountant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are excited to partner with a Chartered Institute who are looking to recruit an immediate, temporary Assistant Management Accountant for 4 months.

Role:

As the temporary Management Accountant you will be responsible with assisting the Finance Manager with the following duties:

• Monthly Management Accounts: Process accruals, prepayments, journals and monthly reconciliations. Produce consolidated management accounts for review with the Finance Manager. Provide clear and concise information about the drivers of business performance and variance analysis.
• Excel Modelling: Building and updating templates, automating the collation of large data sets into concise summary views for sharing with relevant departments, enhancing performance reporting.
• Interface with parent company: Preparing monthly data for upload into group reporting systems and reconciling the outputs back to local systems. Supporting requests for financial and related information from parent company.
• Reporting: Providing insightful information and supporting narrative to budget holders on a monthly basis, gaining feedback on the main drivers for variances against budget and forecast. Ad-hoc data driven reports to support the commercial and operational needs of the organisation.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Preparing supporting documentation for review by the Finance Manager. Ensuring that actions are followed up and closed.
• Business Planning and Analysis: Support the Finance Manager with budget planning and periodic re forecasts.
• Prepare Cashflows to submit to group.
• Support the Finance Manager with implementation of new software, e.g. SAP Concur, Sage Intacct
• Controls and Processes: Updating process notes and work-flows and contributing to business improvement projects.
• Completing tasks and responsibilities to tight deadlines whilst managing stakeholders expectations

Profile:

The successful temporary, Assistant Management Accountant will have experience assisting with management accounts and month end including balance sheet reconciliations and be able to use their imitative to work autonomously.

You must be immediate or on a 1 week notice to be considered for this role.

Our client is a Chartered Institute based in Central London who are looking to recruit an immediate, temporary Assistant Management Accountant for 4 months. Our client offers hybrid working.

Salary & Benefits:

This temporary Assistant Management Accountant role will be paying up to £20.00 - £24.00 per hour (dependant on experience)
