Finance Manager

An excellent opportunity for a qualified finance manager to join a forward-thinking organization in Huddersfield, our client is a private equity backed, growing and acquisitive business.

The role will oversee an accounts team of two whilst reporting into the senior leadership team.

What we are looking for

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience managing a team

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Oversee the production of accurate and timely month-end management accounts, KPIs, and management reports for the Group Financial Controller.
• Collaborate with business heads and accounts payable to optimize working capital and cash generation.
• Act as a business partner to divisional heads and the Managing Director, offering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
• Drive cost efficiencies and maximize EBITDA through resource planning, overhead control, and detailed margin analysis.
• Prepare monthly divisional P&L and cash forecasts and lead the annual budgeting process.
• Play a pivotal role in implementing and managing finance-related systems, including a new ERP system.
