Café / Bar Assistant
Reports to: Office Manager

Overview
To provide support by preparing and serving light breakfast/ lunch to the staff. The successful candidate will also be required to prepare buffets for meeting and serve refreshments to visitors.
Main Duties
• Serving customers and staff in our canteen area.
• Ensuring food hygiene standards during food preparation and cooking.
• Operating a coffee machine and serving tea and coffee to staff and visitors.
• Storing food in line with food standards to avoid any cross contamination.
• Ensuring personal hygiene is maintained through appropriate hand washing.
• Greeting staff and visitors.
• Ensuring payments are taken for food ordered by staff.
• Cleaning down the canteen area at the end of the working day.
• Order stock to ensure a smooth operation and no food shortages.
• Ensuring that correct health and safety procedures are adhered to.
• To look presentable in the correct LWC Drinks uniform at all times.
Knowledge and Experience:
• Kitchen experience.
• Good time Management.
• Presentable appearance at all times.
• High levels of personal hygiene.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High standards and an attention to detail.
• Adherence to Food Safety Standards and Hygiene.
Weekly working hours are to be confirmed but are anticipated to be between 20-24 hours per week.
