The role of Management Accountant is based in Hertfordshire and will suit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong experience of month end reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial reports for senior management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control operational costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze financial performance, highlighting trends and making recommendations for improvements.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with department heads and managers to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required
