Location: Benfleet

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-5.30pm

Job Type: Temp - Perm 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Check loads are secure.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent coordination and balance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
