This role is a Fixed-Term 12 Month Maternity Cover Contract

Job description

We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join our growing team as a 12 month maternity cover, providing a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual looking to progress their career with a recognised brand, in the business to business professional services market.

This full-time role reports to the National Senior Marketing Manager and will involve delivery of marketing programmes aligned to the firm’s strategy. Candidates will need a strong business to business professional services marketing background, preferably within accountancy, and be familiar with working in a consultative environment. If you are comfortable working across all areas of the marketing mix, can work to tight deadlines and have a delivery focused 'can do’ approach, this is the perfect role for you.

The successful candidate will be delivering on strategic marketing plans and campaigns working with Crowe’s Consulting and Advisory service lines.

The marketing team is predominantly based in Crowe’s London office but collaborates nationally across all offices. Travel to other offices will be required depending on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on the strategic marketing to raise Crowe’s reputation, increase recognition and build relationships in the focussed sub-sectors, highlighting our Partner’s specialist skills and services in our desired markets.
  • Develop, deliver and lead comprehensive marketing campaigns from inception through to completion.
  • Develop an awareness and understanding of the Consulting and Advisory service lines with a view to:

o advising partners on potential marketing campaigns and programmes

o providing prompts and direction to the PR team on media comment and social media campaigns relating to marketing priorities identified in marketing plans

o conducting relevant client and competitor intelligence

o identifying emerging trends to add value to conversations and marketing plans as well as updating existing content

o suggest awards that may be relevant for teams and have an input in drafting award submissions

o writing, editing and curating content for email marketing, the website, advertising, brochures social media and other digital content

o communicate successes and raise awareness of services through internal communication channels

o identify opportunities to collaborate and complement other sectors

o facilitate cross sector business development opportunities working closely with the clients and insights team.

  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in the delivery of comprehensive marketing projects to include activities across the full marketing spectrum.
  • End to end event management for in-person and virtual events.
  • Effectively build and manage stakeholder relationships through knowledge sharing and expectation management.
  • Collating, editing, updating and proofing all core marketing content.
  • Effectively measure, evaluate and present back on all marketing activity and performance measures to help inform continuous improvement.
  • Develop target groups through segmentation via CRM for effective external communications.
  • Work with the CRM super users to ensure stakeholders effectively use CRM and develop appropriate reports to feed into marketing and business development activities.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency and compliance in the development of all marketing content.

Skills

  • Excellent track record in development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns and programmes, including experience in all areas of digital marketing.
  • Works with efficiency and enthusiasm with a problem solving and delivery focused attitude.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Proactive as well as responsive.
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills with the ability to multitask to a high standard to meet strict deadlines.
  • Confident with an ability to manage challenging situations with diplomacy and discretion.
  • Excellent language skills and good communicator at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong business knowledge to accurately obtain and convert technical content into compelling copy.
  • Creative with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • An eye for emerging trends and a curious nature to add value to stakeholders and marketing plans.
  • Works well in a team and on their own, with an ability to manage and prioritise their own workload.
  • CRM experience (preferably InterAction or Dynamics 365) and use of HTML emailing platforms.
  • Excellent knowledge and application of the full Microsoft office suite.

Qualifications

  • Degree level education in marketing or CIM qualified. We are open to candidates who do not have these qualifications, if they have proven relevant experience.
  • Previous professional services experience is desired, preferably in accountancy.
  • Experience working with a consulting arm of an accountancy firm would be advantageous, but not essential to the role.
