Job Title: Commercial Manager
Location: Kent (Office-Based)
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

An external recruitment firm is seeking an experienced and highly capable Commercial Manager for a role with a leading construction and engineering firm based in Kent. This position requires 100% office presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management: Primary focus on NEC contracts (90% of workload) and JCT contracts (10%).
• Project Oversight: Manage a portfolio of 50+ live jobs, requiring excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills.
• High-Pressure Environment: Operate effectively under pressure, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all responsibilities.
• Communication: Maintain strong written and verbal communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Required Experience:

• Rail or Metal Fabrication Background: Previous experience in these industries is essential.
• Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) Experience: Demonstrated success in a senior QS role with transferable skills for commercial management.
• Full-Time Office Commitment: This is a 100% office-based role, requiring in-person attendance daily.
