LOCATION: Outskirts of Taunton (due to the location you will need to be a driver)

SALARY: Up to £27,000 PA (DOE)

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9:00am till 5:30pm

We are working with a growing and well-established client based on the outskirts of Taunton who are seeking an organised, passionate and proactive candidate to join them within the administration team. This role is being offered on temporary to permanent basis (minimum 8 - 12 weeks temping initially) therefore you must be available immediately or on a short notice to be considered. Once full training has been completed you will be required to manage 20+ client accounts at any one time and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Processing customer enquiries, setting up new accounts, preparing quotations right through to sale and final despatch
• Maintaining strong relationships with our existing client base and develop new contacts
• Regular contact with suppliers with the ability to negotiate and source competitive rates
• Accurate and efficient preparation of customer files with neat and tidy manual data recording
• Some manual packing or lifting may be required at times
• General administration duties as required

Essential skills and qualities:

• Confident and polite telephone manner
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail with a good level of numeracy skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Upbeat and positive attitude
• IT literate
