Finance Business Partner

Churchill Howard is partnered exclusively with a growing and ambitious Birmingham-based consumer lending business. This role represents an excellent career vehicle for a dedicated and experienced Finance Business Partner. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing financial insights to support decision-making and drive the financial strategy and performance of the division. This role involves working closely with various senior stakeholders across the group and externally.

Responsibilities:

* Provide financial insights, support strategic initiatives, and drive business performance
* Develop strong working relationships across and outside the organisation, acting as primary point of contact for commercial finance-related matters
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals
* Analyse financial performance and provide monthly reporting, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Support cost control initiatives, monitor cost trends, and provide analysis on cost efficiency and effectiveness
* Build and maintain financial models, performance dashboards, and variance analyses to assess business performance and support decision-making.
* Present findings and recommendations to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement
* Feed into the monthly Finance Reporting pack for use within the Board
* Utilise the best technologies to automate & streamline business processes and drive continuous improvement

Essential Requirements and Qualifications:
* Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
* Consumer Lending or other related Financial Services experience
* Proven experience in FP&A or as a Finance Business Partner
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities
