Senior Communications and Digital Marketing Officer

A Russell Group University is looking for a Senior Communications and Digital Marketing Officer to join the team for an initial 6 months starting in January. The role is focused on engaging alumni via a variety of online channels and creative outreach.

Client Details

Our client is a world renowned Russell Group University. This role will be based within the University's Alumni team.

This is a hybrid working role, in the office twice a week.

Description

• Creating digital content across social, video, photo, online community and email marketing.
• Writing a variety of newsletters and posts across channels.
• Data management for the University's large alumni community.
• Stakeholder management across multiple departments and faculties.
• Updating content on the website using their CMS.

Profile

The successful Senior Communications and Digital Marketing Officer should have:

• Excellent writing skills including proofing and editing.
• Experience designing and delivering multi-channel social media campaigns and managing community platforms or channels.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships with non-marketing colleagues.
• Excellent data management skills.
• Demonstrable email marketing experience.
• Creative flair, having produced content using video and photo (including editing on photoshop/in design).
• Proactive attitude to work, taking initiative where needed and working independently.

Job Offer

• 6 month contract with possibilities of extension.
• Start date mid-January.
• Competitive day rate (equivalent to portfolio Manager role).
• Hybrid working.
