Our client, a well-established Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Gloucester, is seeking a skilled and driven Structural Engineer to join their growing team. With an extensive and loyal client base, their portfolio encompasses a wide range of complex projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, retail, public, and residential, throughout the UK.

Key Requirements for the Structural Engineer Role:

• A relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (e.g., BEng/MEng).
• At least 5 years of experience in Structural Engineering design.
• Experience in designing with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Proficiency in Tekla design software is preferred.
• Strong technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills, with proven leadership and excellent communication abilities.

Structural Engineering role Overview:

• Develop structural designs for diverse projects, utilizing materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Work closely with clients to understand their project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, reviewing their work and offering constructive feedback.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality to ensure goals are met.
• Propose innovative solutions to optimize structural efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
