Electrical Design Engineer

We are recruiting for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of a well-established and dynamic company. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to join a talented design team and contribute to delivering outstanding technical solutions.

Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Wincanton
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30 (37 hours per week)

The Role:

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will:

• Prepare technical drawings, including wiring schematics, using AutoCAD.
• Generate accurate quotations for stock and bespoke items.
• Configure and test equipment prior to dispatch.
• Maintain and update the design and test database with precision.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and external customers.
• Review, update and approve production drawings.
• Be involved in new product design (NPD) and CAD library management.
• Resolve technical issues, including on-site problem-solving as needed.

Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, based on experience.
