Since our founding in October 2010, Eagle (G.E.T.) Fabrications Ltd has grown into one of the leading manufacturers of bespoke steel fabrications for the quarrying, mining, recycling, and waste management sectors. The Role

As a Production Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our fabrication shop, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining quality, and fostering a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and inspire a team of skilled fabricators and welders, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee workflows and production schedules to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Work alongside our QC Inspector to maintain high standards and ensure products meet specifications.
  • Health & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Cross-Department Communication: Liaise with sales and customer service teams to ensure alignment on project requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive professional with a passion for leadership and fabrication. About you:

  • Proven experience in workshop management or a supervisory role in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of metalworking, welding, and machining.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience and 5 years of fabrication experience.
