Robert Half is partnering up with a Travel Insurance company, looking for a French-Speaking Underwriting Assistant to join their team.

A unique opportunity has arisen for a French-speaking Underwriting Assistant to join an established international travel insurance provider. Working with Robert Half, we are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our client's dynamic team.

About the Role As an Underwriting Assistant, you will provide crucial support to the underwriting team whilst managing client relationships and processing travel insurance policies. This position offers excellent career progression opportunities within the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and brokers
• Process new applications and renewals for insurance policies and bonds
• Support senior underwriters with technical and administrative tasks
• Maintain and manage client portfolios
• Review and verify application information
• Prepare documentation including quotations, policies, and bonds
• Maintain accurate client records and database information
• Monitor client declarations and ensure compliance with regulations
• Assist with product promotion and marketing initiatives

Essential Requirements

• Fluent French and English language skills
• Previous experience in insurance, travel, or financial services
• Strong attention to detail and administrative capabilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
