Our client, a global manufacturing business based in Teesside, is seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join their established Finance team.  The role offers a significant progression opportunity within a fantastic culture with excellent employee benefits. 

Main duties/responsibilities:

• Understand the business services, costs, and profitability;
• Build and maintain relationships with the sales team and program management, offering finance support and insights;
• Review and approve sales proposals, contracts, and agreements, ensuring proper approval processes are followed;
• Evaluate financial clauses in contracts, providing training and coaching as needed;
• Collaborate on commercial agreements and major contracts, considering financial implications and risks;
• Ensure non-standard contract terms comply with financial policies;
• Support profitability modelling and provide peer reviews;
• Handle internal and external audit queries, providing required evidence; and
• Support finance teams with financial modelling and cost analysis.

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a partnering role;
• Commercial experience;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Attention to detail and superb analysis skills.
