Location: Primary School, M19 Manchester
Position: Full-Time Learning Support Assistant
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM (45 minutes for lunch)
Salary: £12.83 - £13.83 per hour

Learning support assistant Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting groups of children in literacy and numeracy, with a particular focus on phonics interventions and guided reading for our younger learners. You will work across various classes, primarily engaging with less able learners and those with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities of a learning support assistant:

• Provide tailored support as a learning support assistant in literacy and numeracy, facilitating group work for students who require additional assistance.
• Implement phonics interventions and guided reading sessions to enhance reading skills in younger years.
• As a learning support assistant, you will collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver effective learning strategies.
• Foster an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to participate.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
