About Our Client:

Our client is a prestigious organisation in the manufacturing industry, known for their attention to detail and commitment to quality. They are seeking skilled Surface Mount Production Operators to join their team in Congleton. As part of the team, you will play a key role in assembling, testing, and inspecting electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team on a rotating shift pattern to assemble, test, and inspect electronic assemblies
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure the manufacturing of high-quality products
• Perform standard quality checks
• Set up production machinery and equipment
• Maintain a safe and responsible working environment

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing/mechanical/production/assembly environment preferred
• PCB assembly or small parts Assembly is highly beneficial for this role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow repeatable processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Flexibility and reliability in supporting overtime as needed
• Manual handling capabilities, including extended periods of standing

Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Knowledge of surface mount technology and electronic assembly processes

Technologies:

• Training will be provided for specific technologies used in the role
