Working as a Support Practitioner, you’ll create a nurturing and therapeutic environment for children and young people who need it most. Through principles of playfulness, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy, you’ll promote positive relationships that help them thrive. Your responsibilities will include designing care plans, supporting key-working roles, and empowering them to engage in their communities. By providing stability, advocacy, and guidance, you’ll play a key role in their journey to independence, inclusion, and achievement.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
