R13 are pleased to be supporting an award-winning Norwich-based business in their search for a Sales Support Executive. Integral in the growth and success of the company, this position ensures the efficient running of the sales pipeline, contributes to lead generation efforts, and assists with customer engagement activities to support the company’s growth objectives.

*Please note you must be able to commute to the Norwich office, as this is a fully office-based position.*

This is a full time, permanent position based in Norwich working 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. This opportunity offers a competitive salary depending on experience.

This is a brand-new role with huge opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the sales department by managing key administrative, quoting, and customer-focused tasks.

The day to day

  • Managing and maintaining company CRM - updating customer requirements, information and updates
  • Liaising with suppliers to gain costing information to quote jobs
  • Writing up and providing quotes to clients
  • Following up outstanding quotations
  • Develop ongoing client relationships through assuring exceptional service and follow up
  • Undertaking lead research to identify suitable prospects for the sales team to contact
  • Support on tenders and bids for work
  • Support with trade shows and client entertainment events
  • Follow up on client feedback and monitor / evaluate accordingly

You will have/be

  • Previous experience in sales administration or support roles.
  • Some exposure to B2B sales or lead generation is preferred.
  • Excellent phone manner and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn for professional networking and lead generation.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
