An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel, who will be tasked with providing legal support across a wide range of commercial, governance and governance issues. This individual will join a well established team and gain excellent training and support to aid their development as an in-house lawyer.

Description

• Provide legal advice on commercial, compliance and governance issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and help establish policies across the organisation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and risk assessments.
• Support the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
• Train other team members on legal matters relevant to the business.

Profile

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

• A qualified Solicitor in the UK or relevant jurisdiction
• Proven experience in commercial law.
• Experience in Corporate / Company law is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
