Finance Analyst

What you'll do:

• Commercial Analysis:
  • Deliver detailed analysis of business performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
• Forecasting and Budgeting:
  • Lead the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgets in collaboration with key business units.
  • Continuously refine financial models to improve forecast accuracy and adaptability.
• KPI Monitoring:
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance.
  • Work with operational teams to ensure KPIs are aligned with strategic goals.
• Scenario Planning:
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives, product launches, or market changes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Act as a business partner to senior managers, providing financial guidance and support.
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner to finance and non-finance audiences.
• Process Improvement:
  • Continuously enhance FP&A processes, reporting tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

What you'll need:

• Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Proven track record in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on commercial analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data.
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
