Finance Business Partner | £50,000 - £55,000 | Nottingham | Hybrid Working

About This Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll be the financial point of contact for management, guiding them to make informed decisions that impact sales and profit growth. You'll take full ownership of store P&Ls, cash flow, and balance sheets while collaborating on budgets, KPIs, and long-term strategic plans. This role offers variety, challenge, and the chance to work directly with stakeholders to create meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial insight and support to management, fostering collaboration.
  • Analyse P&L performance and recommend solutions to improve profitability.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts packs and deliver clear financial updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead the creation of annual budgets and assist in developing five-year business plans.
  • Manage accurate cash flow projections and oversee financial forecasts for capital investments.
  • Report weekly commercial performance and contribute to strategic discussions.
  • Support other teams across the business with financial plans.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong commercial acumen and an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident working with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, eager to add value and improve processes.
  • Experience with P&L analysis, budgeting, and forecasting is essential.
