Multi Skilled Engineer

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Multi-Skilled Engineer to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in South Aberdeen.

Hours: 6am – 6pm on a 4-on 4-off rotation

Salary: £42K – £47K

Daily Duties –

• Undertake Electrical and Mechanical routine maintenance of equipment, quality inspections and fault finding on the production lines and process
• Communicate with productions teams, providing timely updates on breakdowns/down time
• Carry out Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Routines inspections, reports and remedial works
• Electro-mechanical repairs to high-speed, PLC-controlled plant handling and packaging equipment, also pneumatic and hydraulic control system
• monitor production line and machine performance, identifying and investigating faults and improvements

Candidate Requirements –

• Mechanical and/or Electrical Qualification
• Previous experience working within manufacturing, FMCG, food or meat production
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC control, refrigeration and PTW systems
