Head of Transactional Finance

The Role

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller and working on a hybrid basis (1 day in office), duties and responsibilities of the Head of Transactional Finance will include:

• Direct and manage the Shared Services finance team, including Accounts Payable, Credit Control, Legal debt recovery and Cash and Billing
• Proactively identifying areas for improvement and lead the implementation of those improvements
• Designing, reporting and monitoring KPIs of the Transactional teams to motivate and optimise performance
• Learning and applying lean techniques to continuously improve processes within the company.

The Candidate

To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:

• Extensive experience in shared service or finance operations management
• Ideally be a CCAB qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA equivalent), but not essential
• A sound understanding of the principles of Accounts Payable, Credit Control, and Bank and Cash.
• Proficiency in SAP FI module and Microsoft Business Intelligence.

Salary & Benefits

In return, the successful Head of Transactional Finance will receive the following:

• £50,000 - £60,000 base salary
• 26 days holidays
• Hybrid working patterns from the Leeds office, 1 day in office 4 from home
