About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced PMO Analyst specialising in RAID Management to support the delivery of a complex programme. This role involves working with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure effective risk management and governance. You’ll contribute significantly to the planning, reporting, and analytical functions of the PMO team, ensuring seamless delivery across various work streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and maintain a robust risk management process across programme, project, and work stream levels.
  • Rationalise RAID logs across the programme, ensuring alignment with agreed processes.
  • Regularly review and refine RAID management processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Actively collaborate with stakeholders to address risks, track mitigation actions, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Conduct data analysis to support governance reports, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making.
  • Design and implement templates and tools for PMO documentation and reporting.
  • Support programme governance by producing professional-quality reports for various forums, including project boards and steering committees.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration across work streams, supporting programme delivery.
  • Manage key programme documents to ensure sustained business change and organisational improvement.

Deliverables

  • Finalised RAID management processes, consolidated logs, and frameworks.
  • Reports and insights for various governance requirements.
  • Periodic risk trend analysis and escalation management.
  • Support for stage gate reviews and reporting across programme phases.
  • Comprehensive handover and closure reports.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Over 7 years of experience as a PMO Analyst, with at least 3 years as a RAID specialist on large-scale programmes (£25m+ budget).
  • Expertise in risk management frameworks, tools, and methodologies, including JIRA and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present sensitive information effectively.
  • Experience creating professional-quality governance documents for multiple audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, and risk management tools.
  • PRINCE2 professional certification or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, evolving environments.
