Role details

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide strategic commercial finance advice to senior decision makers. The successful candidate will be a key player in designing payment methodology for new procurement activity, driving the financial evaluation strategy, and leading in procurement dialogue and contract negotiations. This role provides a unique chance to work within a complex stakeholder network, offering analytical insight and data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

  • Lead a small team of modellers and accountants
  • Standardise the approach to commercial finance modelling activities across major programmes
  • Manage/deliver financial analysis to support provider financial dialogue during major procurement activity and post contract negotiations
  • Present your analysis to stakeholders and deliver a compelling narrative to inform board level decisions
  • Apply analytical insight to programs make evidence-based and data driven recommendations
  • Work collaboratively across a range of stakeholders at all levels, using appropriate communication and influencing skills

  • Strong leadership skills with experience of leading teams effectively in delivery of complex procurement projects

  • Confidence to challenge and manage stakeholder expectations
