As they continue to grow, they are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Paraplanner to join the team.
As a Paraplanner with this firm, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) in delivering comprehensive financial advice and tailored solutions to their clients. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our advisory services. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with IFAs to gather client information and conduct detailed analysis to develop comprehensive financial plans.
- Prepare suitability reports, investment recommendations, and other client-facing documents.
- Conduct research on products, funds, and investment options to support recommendations.
- Maintain accurate client records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with product providers, fund managers, and other third parties as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of compliance procedures and regulatory changes.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner within the financial services industry is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial planning processes, investment products, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA).
- Proficiency in using financial planning software and platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Professional qualifications such as Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or Certificate in Paraplanning (CertPFS) are advantageous.
