We’re recruiting for a Field Based Business Development Manager join a thriving company with plenty of progression opportunities for the right candidate. If successful, your primary goal is to deliver new business sales growth. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is based in the South.
80% of your time will be in the field, and 20% would be at home or in the office.
Key Responsibilities for a Field Based BDM:
- Own the sales area and drive strong and sustainable sales growth. Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and goals
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them, understanding their needs and developing new business opportunities
- Work closely with internal departments to from and execute business development programs for your area
- Weekly call planning and diary management
- Update CRM system
- Report monthly to your manager
Essential Skills for a Field based BDM:
- 3 years proven B2B sales and BDM track record
- Experienced in building strong customer relationships ensuring that you truly understand their challenges to maximise the potential of each account.
- You’ll be used to solving problems, approaching tasks with creativity and a strong commercial awareness to find the best solution for the customer and the business.
- You’ll love to work collaboratively, sharing learning and working with the wider team to open up opportunities and add value.
