About the Role:

As an English teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a love for literature, language, and critical thinking among students. You will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons.
• Support students in achieving their academic targets, including GCSE and A-Level success.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students with diverse learning abilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive and motivational feedback.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular programs and events.

About You:

• The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for English and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. You should possess:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching English at secondary level, with a strong record of student achievement.
• Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver creative, impactful lessons.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate effectively.
• A commitment to professional development and collaborative working.
