Management Accountant

We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join a leading manufacturing company based in Shoreham. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is adept at analysing financial information and implementing effective strategies to enhance business performance.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and other financial reports to assist in the management of company finances.
• Analyse financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
• Monitor and report on budget variances and overall financial status to management.
• Work closely with all departments to help them plan and manage their budgets.
• Implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and to improve financial controls.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information in an understandable manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
