Practice Manager – Legal Sector

A well known law firm in Bolton is looking for a talented Practice Manager to join their head office team. The successful work closely with the firm’s Partners and Central Managers, playing a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Partners to develop and execute the firm’s strategy and business plans.
- Implement financial plans in conjunction with the Accounts Manager and Finance Partner.
- Support Department Heads in preparing business plans and budgets.
- Manage and deliver projects through central management teams.
- Develop and implement marketing and HR plans with relevant managers.
- Ensure compliance with SRA Standards and maintain risk management and quality control systems.
- Oversee IT plans with the IT Director and manage annual audits for various accreditations.
- Handle operational management
- Manage supplier contracts and insurances through brokers and advisers.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven leadership and management abilities within a legal environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex issues.
- A team player who can gain the confidence of Partners and staff.
- Relevant management degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with LEXCEL Accreditation and officer roles such as COFA, MLRO, DPO, or SRO is preferable.
