AWS Developer – Share options only for the moment – FinTech start-up / scale-up.  

Could suit:

- a retired AWS Developer who wishes to keep their hand in, doing something interesting, for a few hours per week;

-  or a contractor who can spare a few extra hours, and be part of something interesting;

-  or maybe someone in education (with confident AWS skills) who would like to get the working experience for their profile / CV ?

This highly innovative financial services FinTech offers a Forex solution with widespread applications and a fantastic potential for the FX and money transfer market.  Their clients include corporations and institutions.

Established some 5yrs ago they are steadily expanding.  No one is paid a salary or retainer as yet, but this will follow, hopefully in 2025, as revenues are beginning to flow.

Their CTO is looking to collaborate with an AWS developer to work on a number of new and ongoing development projects.  You’ll also be working with their chief Quant consultant, so will get some fantastic insight and experience into the mechanics of the FX world.

The environment covers:

EC2, Lambda, SNS, EventBridge

API gateways

If you have any Python or Java that would be useful.

A few hours per week (ideally a day) would be great – this can work around your other interests and projects.
