Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour plus overtime

Our Client:

A busy manufacturing company in the Leicester area is seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter Operator to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and cut a variety of sheet metal components.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines according to job specifications
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines

Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter Operator or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of press brake machinery and its operations
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and manipulate heavy materials

Day-to-day:

• Review work orders and engineering drawings to determine job specifications
• Set up press brake machines by installing and adjusting tooling
• Load and unload sheet metal into the machine
• Operate the press brake to bend and form sheet metal to the required angles and dimensions
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and organize workload
