Home Ownership Progressor

Salary: £19,026 - (£33,683 pro rata)

Position: Permanent, Part Time, 20 Hours Per Week – Monday – Friday (10am – 2pm)

Location: Birmingham

The ideal applicant will have a working knowledge of shared ownership leases, and preferably have worked within a sales and marketing role. A working knowledge of Microsoft outlook, word and excel, along with customer service experience is essential. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and on an individual basis, you will be a self starter with a flexible approach to work. You will be the central point of contact for all resale shared ownership queries and marketing, along with the processing of staircasing transactions.

In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Home Ownership Progressor will involve:

  • Liaising with both the seller and the buyer of resale properties, along with estate agents and the seller’s solicitor’s
  • Taking ownership of the companies’ resales and staircasing transactions from the start date through to legal completion
  • Managing and updating the company website with available properties
  • Handling customers calls relating to resales and staircasing
  • Updating the sales database and marketing spreadsheets to provide accurate information
  • Taking resales fees via the internal All Pay system

As Home Ownership Progressor we need you to have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of shared ownership resales and the housing industry
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of word, excel and outlook
  • Customer experience/sales background and comfortable dealing with enquiries and solutions
