Assistant Accountant

PE backed services company based in Woking, Surrey are looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Accountant.  This is a rare opportunity to gather a wide range of finance experience and study support for your  ACCA or CIMA qualification.

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Ownership of the balance sheet and financial accounting thereof.
• Ensure financial control processes are adhered to by the wider finance team and support the Group Financial Controller in overall financial governance.
• Support lead for coordinating with wider external audit team.
• Preparation of financial statements for various entities within the Group.
• Taxation compliance support and lead contact with Group’s external tax advisors to complete the preparation and filing of Group corporation tax returns and associated filings.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• AAT qualified with the ambition to continue ACCA or CIMA.
• ·Strong IT skills including advanced Excel.
• ·Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central desirable.
• ·Passionate about delivering excellent service.
