We are seeking a board level HR director for a leading UK&I manufacturer. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape strategic workforce initiatives, drive organisational growth and influence company culture at the highest level.

With well invested operational sites across the UK and employing over 800 people, the business continues to grow organically and through acquisition.

Description

As a board level HR Director, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation. You will oversee all aspects of the People agenda including, talent acquisition, management and development, employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion, total reward, employer brand, data management, M&A activity and compliance.

  • A trusted advisor to the MD and Executive Leadership Team on all people-related matters
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy and priorities aligned with the Company's goals.
  • Oversee Talent Acquisition strategies in order to attract and retain top talent in line with company values
  • Drive, develop and implement an effective L&D strategy including training programmes, leadership development programmes, performance management, career pathways and succession planning
  • Ensure HR operational efficiency and legal compliance and ensure accurate policies and procedures are embedded
  • Lead on Trade Union relationships and act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive ER case management
  • Effectively manage HR and training budgets
  • Use HR metrics and data to inform decision making and report on KPIs within the business
  • Responsible for leading M&A activity from a people perspective, from planning and due diligence to post transition harmonisation and culture alignment

Profile

For this exciting opportunity, we are seeking the following;

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field (Masters degree, FCIPD or MBA preferred)
  • Proven track record of leading successful HR change initiatives in an HR leadership role
  • Strategic thinking
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • High levels of integrity
  • Able to work at pace
