Warehouse Supervisor

About the opportunity:

We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a UK leading manufacturer.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the daily warehouse operations, ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient receipt and dispatch of goods. You will lead a small team of warehouse staff, uphold safety standards, and implement process improvements to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.
• Receive stock loads and manage the pick operation.
• Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with company and legal regulations.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to warehouse activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

•  Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Must hold a Counterbalance licence.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
• Understanding and implementation of Continuous Improvement.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Understanding of Lean Methodologies.
• Strong personal drive and resilience.
