Description
- Lead and manage the engineering team in Rugby.
- Oversee operational aspects of the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation.
- Monitor and control maintenance costs.
- Carry out regular inspections to identify and resolve issues.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the team.
Profile
A successful Mechanical Supervisor should have:
- Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of industrial / manufacturing operations and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- 2 years' experience Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer in a cement plant would be beneficial
