Role Overview

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will focus on medical insurance for corporate accounts, liaising with group secretaries, brokers, and account managers both internally and externally. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing queries related to eligibility, policy onboarding, renewals, changes, lapsing, invoices, and complaints
  • Providing technical and administrative support for our company
  • Communicating effectively through telephone, email, and webchat
  • Handling a mixture of administrative tasks and telephony, including managing 25-30 phone calls per day

Qualifications, Training & Experience

  • Excellent listening skills with the ability to tailor approaches to individual customers
  • Proficient in Windows-based PC packages, with the ability to multitask
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Resilient, able to maintain perspective and composure under pressure
  • Professional demeanor when dealing with emotional or anxious customers
  • Adaptability to work effectively in a changing environment
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Initiative to make decisions within established protocols with minimal supervision
  • Problem-solving skills with a positive, "can-do" attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure in multi-task situations in both office and home environments
