Job Purpose:

To provide a prompt service, principally to Process Jobs in order of the BCP and safe storage of all parts associated with the business and effective service on System Transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To Process Jobs in order of the BCP
  • To be able to Set and Operate, Process Barrel, Dip Tank and Caustic plant.
  • To correctly store all materials and equipment in defined locations.
  • To understand and communicate effectively at all levels, on all materials, equipment, procedures, methods, techniques, working practices and objectives of the Processing and associated areas.
  • To assist lower grade employees in prompt resolution of problems affecting the achievement of objectives on Cost, quality, and Timeliness and to work with Managers’, Cell Leaders’, and other service areas on development of improved methods, systems, and techniques to improve response and service from the Process Area.
  • To control all activities of the Process Area in the absence of the immediate Line Manager ensuring that resources are fully utilised and business objectives are achieved.

Education:
  • Educated to GCSE – Maths, English
  • IT Literate

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good communication skills in both written and verbal.
  • · Materials handling training
  • · To have a working knowledge of PC’s
  • · A full clean driving & fork lift truck license
  • · Previous stores & warehouse experience
